Look out, MPHS class of 2000

13 Aug

This evening, I will be attending my 10 year class reunion.  Obviously, this is a fantastic opportunity to tell some outlandish lies.  Here are some contenders:

Ida is a “Benjamin Button”.

I am in preparations and negotiations to become a test subject for new prosthetic limb technology.

I am a freelance, online, massage therapist (which I can’t talk about).

In my spare time, I am a prenatal educator (which, as it turns out, is NOT education for expectant mothers, but rather is prenatal school for fetus’).

I am the secret, sole administrator of The University of Phoenix.

This is a wig.

I am a christian fundamentalist and would LOVE to share the good news of Jesus Christ.  On the mic.  With Nathan accompanying me on the keyboard (don’t worry, we brought our own).

Thoughts?  Favorites?

I’m pretty pumped about the reunion, and I really hope that I get to do some slow dancin’ to Boyz to Men.  I went to school with some really lovely people and I’m looking forward to catching up on what everybody’s been up to (and encouraging them with my serious lack of accomplishment).

Liz, I want you to know that I follow your blog and delight in your creative, energizing humor! You are a bright spot in my life and I en-joy hearing your thoughts and seeing your beautiful daughter grow in all that love you and Nathan have together! I look forward to reading your book and seeing the movie adaption of your screenplay!!

Thanks for the kind words, Shirley, er, Ms. Faleer (I can’t do it – don’t make me). I think you’re swell!
